Bostitch BT200-2 Brad Nailer


The Bostitch BT200-2 is a decent brad nailer (from my limited experience), but it does suffer from some cheap execution. Don’t expect too much.

The Ridgid WD14500 shop vac is a good vacuum. However it suffers from poor usability design: cord management, attachment storage, and hose management are all poor. It also suffers from shitty small casters.

Converter boxes are a fucking waste of money. It is a side effect of someone in congress “fighting for the people”, while no one is actually interested in helping those with “old” TV’s.

The TiVo HD: What a Piece of Craptastism


Many say the TiVo is the best of its genre. However the quality has only gone downhill, and the service pricing is just plain stupid. The hardware is cheap—but count on buying “spares”. Or spend some more money and get full control by building your own DVR via MythTV or similar.

HP Photosmart Premium Fax (C309) After Lunch


Unbelievable—thanks to Microsoft Office 2007, this product is saved from the brink of a hair-pulling cuss-fest.

HP Photosmart Premium Fax (C309)


The HP Photosmart Premium Fax is a great piece of hardware which seems to have made the engineers suffer from “too much at once” syndrome. The software is utterly terrible. A real shame. If you want to scan documents from the feeder use the program included with Microsoft Office 2007.
